Apprenticeship Program

Our Apprenticeship program was developed to meet the requirements of the NJ Department of Health. In order to work legally in New Jersey per NJ Administrative Code Title 8, Chapter 7 Health Code a practitioner must complete 15 supervised apprenticeships. The breakdown is as follows:
5- Brows
5-Eyeliners
5-Lip Procedures

You will complete 6 supervised procedures during our NJ State, AAM & SPCP approved Permanent Makeup Fundamental Class. An additional 9 procedures need to be completed in order to be eligible for the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) Board Exam which is required by the State of NJ. The apprenticeships are offered at our location in a 1 to 1 teaching environment with an AAM Certified Instructor. We can provide you with the models or you are welcome to bring your own. In addition to being a requirement it is a wonderful way to improve your skills, gain confidence and grow your portfolio. Each apprenticeship is $400. You can also rent your equipment and supplies if necessary.
